Shure has been announced as the Exclusive Event Partner for the AIBs 2026, the 22nd annual international awards for journalism and factual productions.
The Association for International Broadcasting, which organises the AIBs, welcomes entries from all languages and organisations of any size, recognising excellence in journalism and factual content worldwide.
As part of the partnership, Shure will collaborate with the AIB throughout the year to support initiatives that connect journalists, programme makers and production professionals globally.
A central feature of the partnership will be the introduction of AIB-Shure Masterclasses, designed to share expertise and best practices among content creators working across various platforms and genres.
Simon Spanswick, chief executive of the AIB, said Shure’s reputation for excellence is recognised throughout the global media industry and highlighted the importance of sound in effective storytelling across radio, podcasts, television and digital content.
Peter James, Vice President Global Business Development at Shure, said the AIBs celebrate the best work being produced globally and that audio is at the heart of every great story, whether in podcasts, documentaries or news coverage.
