Radio Facilities launches custom imaging service

Radio Facilities has introduced a custom radio imaging service, now on air at Southdown Radio, Radio Essex and Ireland’s Velvet Sounds.

The service is led by audio producer Mark Hall, who has worked with BBC Radio Norfolk, 103.4 The Beach, the Heart Network and IQ Beats.

Mark has managed imaging projects for broadcasters such as Capital, LBC, Gold, the Wireless Group and BBC local radio stations.

The new offering focuses on creating original branding tailored to each station’s identity, to give broadcasters a distinctive and recognisable sound.

Mark says he believes that imaging should reflect each station’s personality and become part of its DNA, helping listeners identify the station instantly.

Chris Brooks, Programme Director at Radio Essex, said Radio Facilities understood their brief and delivered exactly what was needed.

Mark notes that September is a natural time for stations to refresh their sound, with new schedules and presenters making updated imaging especially relevant.

Audio examples of the new imaging packages are available at radiofacilities.com.

Radio Facilities, based in Hammersmith, London, provides audio services including radio imaging, studio recording, audiobook production and podcast recording, working with a range of clients across the UK.
