Alissa Pollack has been appointed President of Mediabase, a music industry source for airplay monitoring and chart intelligence in the US and a division of RCS Worldwide.
Alissa will continue her role as President, Global Music Marketing at iHeartMedia, combining two positions in music, media, technology, and consumer insights.
In her new role, Alissa will oversee Mediabase’s strategic direction, global expansion, product development, and commercial growth.
She will evolve Mediabase from its core airplay charts into a broader global music intelligence platform, serving record labels, broadcasters, artists, managers, publishers, digital streaming platforms, agencies, and brands.
Throughout her career, Alissa has played a key part in developing data and analytics platforms and multi-platform marketing solutions that have changed how artists are discovered and how campaigns are built. Her work has helped record labels and broadcasters make more informed decisions.
Susan Larkin, CEO and President of RCS Worldwide, said the promotion recognises Alissa’s achievements and reflects confidence in her future leadership of Mediabase.
Alissa said she is honoured to lead Mediabase and sees an opportunity to expand its global reach. She highlighted a new initiative making more Mediabase chart data publicly accessible, allowing music fans and industry professionals to view Top 50 charts across all formats in the US and Canada.
