Vicky Pattison will cycle, run and kayak from Newcastle to the Heart studios in London for Global’s Make Some Noise charity.
The challenge, Tyne to Thames, covers 250 miles over five days, starting in Newcastle on 5th October and finishing at Heart’s Leicester Square studios on 9th October.
Vicky’s route will take her through York, Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester before reaching London.
Heart Saturday afternoon host, Vicky said the challenge is far outside her comfort zone, describing herself as happiest at home with her dogs.
She added that she expects it to be tough but believes the effort will be worthwhile if it helps raise money for the cause.
Suzanne Ryder Richardson, Director of Global Goodness and CEO of Global’s Make Some Noise, said the challenge is a huge undertaking and praised Vicky’s determination and ability to connect with people.
