Nation Broadcasting has acquired More Radio Sussex and Isle of Wight Radio, expanding its presence in the south of England.
More Radio has been broadcasting to Sussex for over twenty years, while Isle of Wight Radio has served the Island since 1990.
With these acquisitions, Nation Broadcasting adds 85,000 listeners and over a million weekly listening hours to its existing audience in Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Following the deal, Nation’s total weekly listening across the UK rises to 8.28 million hours, with a reach of 1.35 million listeners.
Jason Bryant, founder of Nation Broadcasting, described More Radio and Isle of Wight Radio as strong brands and said the acquisitions complement the company’s existing stations in the region.
Claire John, Managing Director of More Radio and Isle of Wight Radio, said joining Nation Broadcasting means local business partners can now reach larger audiences across the south and the Isle of Wight.
