Q Radio is searching for a new broadcaster to join its breakfast programme through a competition called Q Factor.
The talent search is open to aspiring presenters and local personalities across Northern Ireland, with no previous professional radio experience required.
Applicants must submit a short video featuring a radio styled link through the Q Radio website. Suggested approaches include telling a personal story, introducing a musician or delivering a traffic update about the Sandyknowes roundabout.
Selected entrants will then complete a series of audio challenges before the finalists appear live alongside Q Radio Breakfast presenters Connor and Amy.
The winner will secure a place on the Q Radio Breakfast team.
Errol Doherty, Programme Manager and Head of Music at Q Radio, said: “Q Factor is the perfect opportunity for someone to get involved in the world of radio.”
Errol said applications were welcomed from people with different backgrounds, including comedians, singers and anyone able to tell an engaging story.
“We are looking for anyone to apply, so even if you have never presented before, this could be your opportunity,” he added.
Producers will assess entrants on their personality, wit, voice and ability to connect with listeners across Northern Ireland.
