Derby ONE prepares for dedicated city DAB launch

Derby ONE is preparing to join the new dedicated Derby City DAB multiplex, extending its availability in the city.

The commercial station currently broadcasts through its app, smart speakers, online player and the Loughborough DAB multiplex, which provides coverage along the M1 corridor.

Dan Martin, Programme Director and Co-founder of Derby ONE, said: “Our listeners are actively seeking us out, opening our app, or asking their smart speakers to play Derby ONE.

“That loyalty is a direct result of being genuinely present in our city, whether we are broadcasting live from the Market Hall, supporting the Moonlight Walk, giving local artists and charities the airtime they deserve, or covering events like DerbyVision.”

The station has also announced its Q3 2026 listening figures with 11,0000 unique connections online and over 30,000 Total Listening Hours. The latest data also highlighted an
average session length of 93 minutes.

Derby ONE can be heard at website, through its mobile app and smart speakers, as well as on the Loughborough DAB multiplex.
