Liverpool pop and rock band The Wombats are to become the first guests on a new regular series of live sessions on Xfm called An Evening With.
‘An Evening With’ is when one of Xfm’s favourite artists plays an intimate session in the Xfm studios for 30 lucky competition winners.
The Wombats will be performing their new single “Circuitboard City” and a number of session tracks from their album including The Wombats Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation. The first show will air at 7pm on Monday 2nd March on Steve Harris Show (7-10pm).
Mike Walsh, Head of Music, Xfm London said "The Wombats are one of Xfm’s favourite bands and it has been a great journey watching them go from tiny Xfm club shows to sold-out arena gigs in the space of 18 months. We are looking forward to welcoming them back to play a very intimate set in front of some of their biggest fans.”
