App-happy at Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio has given its set of mobile phone apps an update and the release of an additional dedicated Absolute Radio 90s app.

Upgraded features include native background streaming and new hi-res icons and graphics for iPhone 4 and new iPod Touch owners.

The Absolute Radio 90s app for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and also for Nokia S60 3rd and 5th editions, plus the forthcoming range of Symbian ^3 handsets like the Nokia N8 is available now to download from their respective stores.

The new Absolute Radio app also supports dynamic ‘Now Playing’ information for all stations, meaning listeners can see which songs are playing on sister stations.

The team at One Golden Square are proud of their latest releases: "All of these applications are available now, meaning we’ll have released two new applications and upgraded a further seven. That beats our previous record of releasing six new apps, back in February 2010," they write on their [link=http://onegoldensquare.com/2010/10/new-absolute-radio-90s-apps-and-a-whole-host-of-upgrades/]blog[/link].
