The Local Radio Company has seen an overall rise in listeners to a new record of
924,000 listeners per week compared with 891,000 listeners in Q3 2006 with total listening hours of 6.9 million compared with 6.7 million in Q3 2006.
Commenting on the figures, Richard Wheatly, Chief Executive of TLRC, said: 'We are delighted with these results. This is the second successive time that we have achieved an all time high number of listeners to our radio stations. Our total listeners are 10% higher than 12 months ago which is a fantastic result for the Group and shows that our local strategy is working.'
