CN-Group radio station CityBeat 96.7 has been helping make dreams come true for a local girl who wanted to meet X-Factor sing Ray Quinn. Nine year-old Belfast girl Courtney Nelson won the chance to interview her idol Ray live on-air, and have her photograph taken with the singer.
Listeners had to text the studio and say why they should meet Ray. “I text that me and my mummy are Ray’s biggest Belfast fans”, she said. “I wanted to win for my mummy for Mother’s Day. Ray is my favourite pop star and we voted for him to win The X Factor”.
