Former station manager at Win FM Dave Webster is set to join Vale FM as programme controller. He replaces Stewart Smith who is moving to CanWest's new station in Bristol, Original 106. Dave has previously worked at 2CR FM and takes up his new position within TLRC from March 12th.

Dave said: "I delighted to be back at The Local Radio Company and able to use my skill set to drive Vale FM forward and build on the success."

Commenting on Dave's appointment, regional programme controller for the South West Steve Bulley told "He has proven programming knowledge and will have a great opportunity to maximize the potential of Vale FM by growing the listenership and time spent listening."
