TLRC station Spire FM in Salisbury, Wiltshire has raised £15,000 for its chosen charity of the year during the stations annual on-air auction. Over 90 lots were donated by local businesses, and all money collected went straight to Naomi House Children’s Hospice.
Emma Barlow, Fundraising Co-ordinator for Naomi House, Said ‘it was amazing, and totally exceeded all of our expectations’.
Spire FM’s Station Manager, Karen Bosley said ‘what a fantastic result. The whole team pulled together and everyone’s involvement made the day the massive success it was! It could not have been done without the generosity of the local community, so a huge thank you to everyone!’
