New ad deal for Cheshire

Mid-Cheshire's community radio station, Cheshire FM, has signed up thirty new businesses for advertising… in one go! The Winsford-based station has agreed a deal with Weaver Square shopping centre in nearby Northwich to provide airtime to each of the stores located in the centre.

The spot ads will all share Weaver Square branding but will be uniquely produced. In addition to the airtime already secured, individual businesses will be able to bolt-on further airtime at a discounted rate to build individual promotions. The rolling deal, worth well in excess of five figures annually, provides a steady cashflow and a large proportion of the community station’s funding requirement.

David Duffy, Cheshire FM’s Chief Executive said “This is great news. It reflects the achievement of our team in delivering a community radio service in a professional manner.”

Cheshire FM launched in April and broadcasts to an area of 113,000 people in the semi-rural region of mid-Cheshire.
