The date for Emap's next general meeting will take place at 11am on Friday 25th January. The main topic of discussion will be the proposed disposals of Emap
Consumer Media and Emap Radio to German publisher Bauer. Approval from shareholders will be sought by the board.
It was announced on December 7th 2007 that Bauer offered £1.14 Billion for the two divisions – £422 million of that for Emap Radio. But despite newspaper reports of some shareholders not willing to vote in favour, the deal is expected to go through as planned.
The general meeting will take place at Holiday Inn, Coram Street, London WC1N 1HT at 11:00am on 25 January 2008.
