Capital breakfast show host Johnny Vaughan has lost 88,000 listeners this quarter, handing the top 6 till 9am London commercial breakfast slot to Heart duo Jamie and Harriet. Fox on Magic 105.4 comes in at third place.
Jamie and Harriet have gained another 105,000 listeners in the morning taking them to 915,000 listeners. Richard Park saying: “London is driving success for Global Radio with this outstanding set of Rajars. The results are testament to Heart 106.2’s ongoing commitment to innovative programming and feel good music which resonates with our listeners’ lifestyles”.
Vaughan has 864,000 listeners between 6 and 9am, but comes out with 937,000 listeners when the extra hour of his breakfast show is accounted for, theoretically giving him a 22,000 lead on Heart.
Neil Fox on Magic 105.4 has dropped from 885,000 to 811,000 whilst Rickie and Melvin at Kiss stay roughly the same, losing 27,000 people.
