Jonathan Ansell, the young British tenor who shot to fame as the lead singer of X-Factor runners-up G4, is joining GCap's national station Classic FM.
He will join next month to present a brand new five-part series profiling the life and the music of the great movie composers.
The Great Movie Composers begins on Sunday, February 17 at 4pm with a look at the life and the times of John Williams, arguably Hollywood’s most successful movie composer.
Speaking about his new programme, Jonathan said: “Movies and music are both lifelong passions of mine, and to be able to present a programme on both is fantastic. I’ve listened to Classic FM since it started, so presenting on it will be great! I can’t wait to take to the airwaves.”
Classic FM managing director Darren Henley said: “Jonathan is an exciting young talent and a great ambassador for classical music. We’re delighted to welcome him to the station.”
