Rock FM and Magic 999's deputy programme director and station sound producer Gillian Hall has joined UTV Radio's Juice FM in Liverpool as programme controller.
Former Rock FM drivetime presenter Rick Houghton was previously announced as taking up the Liverpool position, but he has since moved to Dubai.
Speaking of her appointment, Gillian said: "I am looking forward to playing a key part in the continued development of 107.6 Juice FM. 2008 is an exciting year for Liverpool and I’m thrilled to be given the chance to make 107.6 Juice FM the voice and sound of the European City of Culture."
On Hall’s appointment, Iain Fowler, 107.6 Juice FM, station director, said: “I’m delighted that Gillian is joining the station. She brings with her a wealth of experience in commercial radio which will be invaluable as we continue to grow and develop the station.”
Gillian had been with Emap/Bauer for eight years.
