The future of Planet Rock remains uncertain for another month whilst interested parties continue to negotiate with owners GCap Media.
The deadline to shut or sell the digital-only station has been extended to May 30th, as Global Radio finalise their takeover plans.
In an email to listeners this weekend, Planet Rock said "[i]We’d love to be able to announce that the deal to buy Planet Rock is all done and dusted but I’m afraid that we have to keep holding our breath for yet another month[/i]."
It is still not clear if Planet Rock will be sold to a third party, or kept by new owners Global Radio.
