Cliq offers free music all day

Cliq, the music download service of UBC is offering a full day of free music, in partnership with GMG Radio's Real and Century Radio stations. Every track played on-air on Bank Holiday Monday will be available for download without charge, once a java program has been installed on a users mobile phone.

Cliq is available nationally on 21 commercial radio stations, with a reach of 12 million commercial radio listeners, and can be used on most new mobile phones by downloading a java application.
Real and Century listeners across five stations in the UK will be able to own any songs playing from midnight on Sunday 4 May to midnight Monday 5 May. They will be sent straight to their computer to be added to their playlist for free.
GMG’s Head of Music, Terry Underhill said; “This is the first time any radio station will actually give all its listeners the chance to download for free the songs they hear being played on air during one day.”
