Celebrity Radio goes live

Celebrity interviewer Alex Belfield has uploaded his archive of famous conversations, and make them available free of charge on Celebrity Radio.
The online 'station', which officially launched today, contains thousands of interviews and archive material.

Belfield's Celebrity Specials have been broadcast on nearly 70 radio stations in the UK since 2000. BBC Local Stations such as WM, Derby, Shropshire, Stoke, Hereford and Worcester, Coventry and Worcester, York, Humberside, Gloucester and Jersey have broadcast his programmes in the last year. Commercially Alex presents for CityTalk in the North West and many ILR's including Mansfield 103.2 and The Eye.
Alex's Celebrity guests have included Gordon Ramsay, Joan Collins, Terry Wogan, Dale Winton, Cilla, Cliff, Sir Ian McKellen, Andrea Bocelli, Jordan, Jo Brand, Alan Carr, The Loose Women, Ken Dodd, Il Divo, The Duchess of York, Roy Chubby Brown, Ozzy and Sharon, Frank Sinatra Jnr, Ricky Lake, Noel Edmonds, Graham Norton, Paul Merton and many many more!
Belfield said "Interviewing a star like Ramsay is always exciting, he is internationally successful and one of the worlds most popular celebrities. The demand to hear rare in-depth celebrity interviews is incredible. Very few people get 45 minutes face to face with a Star of his calibre, I'm the luckiest guy in Radio! I think my success is down to my relaxed style, making the guest comfortable and deliberately asking better questions than the average moronic DJ, this makes my interviews a totally unique, insightful and entertaining listen. It's such a thrill to finally put these interviews online for the fans to enjoy."
Belfield was born and lives in Nottingham and has previously worked on air for The Capital Gold Network, Touch FM, Mercia FM, Century 106 and many BBC Local stations.
Alex says: "I was very smart to make sure I owned all of my material from the start, this is crucial for any broadcaster in today's media. Because I own and control my audio I can repeat it, re-broadcast it and of course put it online for the world to hear. It is such an amazing thrill to see all of my material online….I'd forgotten I'd interviewed half the people!"
