The weekday morning schedule is all change at BBC Radio Leeds, with the appointment of Martin Kelner for breakfast, and Alex Belfield for mid-mornings.
Martin left the station three years ago after being told he wasn't female friendly by the management at the time.
He'll take over the flagship show Monday to Thursday from July 26th, whilst Alex Belfield will be taking over the mid-morning show from next Monday.
Alex said: "I am really excited about doing this show – it really is my dream gig. It will be driven by the audience and cover the full range of topics from the very serious to the very funny.
"I really want listeners to get involved and enjoy being part of what is going on in the studio.
"I will be putting listeners at the heart of my programme. By introducing new features to the mid-morning show, I'll be getting around West Yorkshire, inviting listeners to be involved, having fun and challenging those who hold positions of authority. It's great companionship, with a serious edge too."
As well as presenting the new show, Alex Belfield In The Morning, Alex will continue to cover the celebrity scene for local radio and still entertain in the clubs – his first love.
