An MD of a national newspaper has been announced as the new chief executive of the UK's largest radio group.
Stephen Miron, currently managing director of the Mail on Sunday and Mail Online is to be chief executive of Global Radio and run the day to day operations of the business. He will report to the Global Group's chief executive Ashley Tabor.
He will work alongside Richard Park, who becomes group executive director, with the additional role of director of broadcasting.
Ashley Tabor said: "I am delighted that Stephen has agreed to join the company. He is highly regarded within the media sector and I have been impressed with his achievements within the newspaper industry over many years and in particular the innovative and exciting developments he has brought to the Mail on Sunday.
"I have no doubt that his drive, along with his commercial and management experience will enhance our business and I look forward to him joining the company.”
