Richard Wheatly is stepping down as executive chairman of The Local Radio Company to take up the same position at Jazz FM.
He will now become a non-executive director of TLRC, whilst finance director Alistair Mackenzie will assume responsibility for the day to day management as chief operating officer.
Anthony Gumbiner, who through Hallwood Investments Limited holds share capital of the company, will become non executive chairman of The Local Radio Company PLC. Anthony was previously a Non Executive Director of the Company.
Rhys Davies, who is a director of Hallwood Investments Limited, will become Investment Director with responsibility for managing all investments and divestments as well as representing the Company on the boards of its investee companies, Jazz FM, First Radio Sales and Quadrant Media. Rhys is currently a Non Executive Director of the Company.
