Signal 1 and Signal 2 in Staffordshire and South Cheshire have announced that they are to donate £15,000 worth of specialist equipment to charity.
The donation is for sick and needy children through their fund, Help a Signal Child. The fund’s latest donations will directly help ten children and indirectly benefit a great number more as equipment has been purchased on behalf of both individuals and local organisations.
Lisa Hughes, Signal 1 and 2, station director said: "The equipment and experiences we are able to provide the children through the Help a Signal Child fund is amazing. Some of the specialist equipment can cost upwards of £1000, which is out of the reach of most people’s pockets. But the equipment can, in some cases, be literally life changing."
