NW stations up for awards

North West radio stations are well-represented in the nominations for this year's How-Do awards, which have been released today.

Up for the Radio Station of the Year gong are Manchester-based Key 103 and Smooth Radio along with Liverpool's Juice FM and Rock FM in Lancashire.
Meanwhile, City Talk 105.9 is in the running for Media Website of the Year.
The awards, from North West media and PR news website How-Do, will be handed out at a dinner at Manchester United FC on 30 April. The website says: "Both the number (just shy of 200) and the quality of entries this year was ahead of last year's inaugural event."
Among those speaking at this year's event will be Peter Salmon, the man in charge of moving five BBC departments including Radio Five Live to Salford's MediaCityUK.
