106.1 Rock Radio in Manchester celebrates its first birthday party at the Ritz on May 8. With imitation the sincerest form of flattery, the Monsters of Mock night pays tribute to some of rock’s biggest bands.
Headlined by Limehouse Lizzy, the bill includes The Rollin Clones, Rattle and Hum, and Fink Ployd. Breakfast show host Steve Berry emcees the night along with help from the station’s entire presenting crew.
Morning presenter, Moose (ironically, that’s not his real name either), said: “The greatest radio station on the planet is throwing the greatest party on the planet. If I were you, I’d wear your wellies!”
