Zee Radio to cease broadcasts

ZEE Radio will cease broadcasting on 30th April, according to reports posted on Bizasia. Govind Shahi, head of ZEE Network UK, said the network has decided to concentrate on its core TV business.

ZEE Radio was launched at the ZEE Carnival event in 2008 by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to promote the station's 'Bollywood-only' positioning.
ZEE Radio, which is available on 558am, DAB digital radio, Sky channel 0215 and online, is now looking for potential buyers before the month-end deadline.
