Minster FM renews Leeds deal

Yorkshire Radio and Minster FM are to renew their partnership to air Leeds United’s games on FM across Yorkshire. The two stations teamed up last season to transmit the team’s games on Minster FM’s 104.7 frequency.

The matchday programme runs between 2pm and 6pm on Saturdays and 7pm and 10pm for midweek fixtures.
David Green, Programme Controller at Minster FM, said: "The coverage was well received by football fans across North Yorkshire last season and we are delighted to be able to give our listeners the chance to follow Leeds in what should be a very exciting season ahead."
Both Radio Aire and BBC Radio Leeds previously owned rights to Leeds United commentary but the club has held back the rights in recent years in favour of its own in-house station. Yorkshire Radio launched on July 10th 2006.
The coverage starts on August 8 when Leeds United take on Exeter City at Elland Road.
