The founder and CEO of United Christian Broadcasters has described the launch of the station on the national DAB platform as an extraordinary dream come true.
UCB UK started broadcasting on Digital One at midnight, whilst UCB Inspirational will broadcast on regional multiplexes.
Ian Mackie says: "We have had a 23-year old dream and vision to broadcast nationally across the UK and it’s an overwhelming and humbling day to finally see that dream come to fruition."
UCB has five radio stations in total, with the other three called UCB Gospel, UCB Bible and The Word is Music. Panjab Radio also launched on Digital One today.
