Central keeps Rob for breakfast

Central Radio is keeping breakfast presenter Rob Charles, despite him signing to a nearby station to present mid-mornings.

UTV Radio moved him to Tower FM after the sale of the station to Niocom a couple of weeks ago.

But it appears new owner Niocom quite like Rob and have asked him to stay.

Niocom Group Programme Controller Phil Johnson says “I am thrilled to announce that Rob wishes to stay in his rightful place on breakfast here in
Preston! His history in this market and belief in the future success of the station has made this choice an easy one for him.”
