Pure flows out new connected set

Radio makers Pure have launched what they're calling their most affordable, portable internet-connected digital radio ever.

Part of the low-priced ONE range, the Pure One Flow adds streamed internet radio to DAB and FM, with the firm claiming the sub-£100 price tag will help change the market.

As well as FM, DAB, DAB+, online streaming of radio content and consumers' own music collection, the new model adds Pure's latest cloud-based music service that launched earlier this year – allowing the user to tag tracks playing on any radio station and buy them directly from the radio set.

Colin Crawford, PURE’s director of marketing, says: "ONE Flow achieves a new price in premium digital and internet radio, but it does so without compromise. So you get all the benefits of broadcast digital radio, plus new on-line content and you even get access to our revolutionary FlowSongs service to buy music direct from your radio. ONE Flow really will deliver internet-connected digital radio for everyONE."

It's mains-powered as standard but like the rest of the ONE series the optional rechargable battery pack will give it 40 hours of portable listening. Which could work well with something like a [link=http://threestore.three.co.uk/broadband/?mifi=1]Mi-Fi[/link] to listen to internet radio wherever you go.
