Gary Barlow is to co-host the Radio 2 breakfast show with Chris Evans next Wednesday, ahead of a concert to celebrate the Take That star's 40th birthday.
The radio show will be streamed live on the Radio 2 website between 8am and 9am too.
Chris says: "Gary is a star, a musical genius and a gentleman and we can’t wait to help him celebrate this milestone birthday on the Radio 2 Breakfast show."
Thursday night sees a special Radio 2 In Concert live show from London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, with Gary performing in a charity show on the evening of his 40th birthday.
The event, titled GB40, will see Gary perform songs that span a fantastic 20 year career in a small and intimate setting. Fans have been allocated passes through a ticket lottery. Gary is back on the stage on his own for the first time in over 11 years and we're told he'll perform songs from his successful career as one of the UK's most distinguished singer/songwriters. He will be backed by a band made up of close friends and acquaintances he's met along the way helping make it a night to remember, with profits from the night going to charity.
