Margherita Taylor swaps Capital for Heart

Margherita Taylor is joining Heart after 18 years with sister station Capital FM.

Details of which show Margherita will be hosting are yet to emerge, but RadioToday.co.uk can confirm she’ll continue her weekday Smooth Classics programme on Classic FM, as well as co-hosting the Classic FM Live concerts with John Suchet.

Speaking about her new role, Margherita said: “I am a regular listener to Heart so I can’t quite believe I am now joining the biggest commercial radio station in the UK. It’s going to be so much fun and I get to play lots of my favourite songs!”

Global Radio’s Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: “I have worked with Margherita for a good part of her 18 years at Capital FM and I am convinced that her feel-good, positive presenting style is going to be a real hit with the Heart listeners.”

We’ll bring you more details in the new year about her new Heart programme.
