Stuart Grant swaps Heart for Choice FM

Global Radio has appointed former Heart Sussex Programme Controller Stuart Grant as the new Managing Editor of London urban station Choice FM.

Stuart only joined Heart last September after a long career with Kiss in the East of England and its predecessor Vibe FM.

Stuart will take up the new position from next month and we’re told will lead the Choice FM programming team in ‘implementing a programme strategy to consolidate the brand’s position as London’s number one urban station’.

He told RadioToday.co.uk: “Choice FM has seen remarkable growth over the past year and I’m honoured to be joining the team at such an exciting time. The station has long been at the forefront of urban music and I can’t wait to play my part in driving things to the next level.”

Global Radio’s Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: “Stuart’s impressive track record and obvious passion for music and broadcasting will make him instrumental in leading Choice FM to even greater heights. We’re delighted to welcome him to his new role.”
