A new country music radio station will launch with an exclusive interview with rising star of the American country scene, Kacey Musgraves.
The UK-based online station is the work of radio producer Chris Stevens, who has interviewed the chart-topping artist for a special one-off show.
The singer, whose new album Same Trailer Different Park is currently number 2 in the USA and top of the iTunes UK country chart, recently played her first UK headline gig in London, and appeared on BBC Breakfast.
Talking about her UK visit, Kacey says: “It’s awesome – I think it’s cool that country’s gone to a bunch of different places other than the US, and it’s cool to see fans here.”
The one-hour special, entitled “Up Close And Personal with Kacey Musgraves” is being broadcast this Saturday 27th April at midday on Chris Country, online at chriscountry.co.uk and via the TuneIn radio app.
