Former Brookside star Jennifer Ellison is joining Dave Kelly on Radio City 96.7 to co-host a new Sunday morning breakfast show.
The local lass starts her first regular radio show, Dave and Jen, on May 26th.
Jennifer was most widely known for her role as Emily Shadwick in Brookside, and has previously released two singles when she pursued a pop music career following her television appearances.
Her time in the limelight has seen her appear on Hell’s Kitchen, which she went on to win, a travel documentary and more recently Dancing on ice where she reached the semi-finals.
Dave Kelly hosts the station’s Drive time show every weekday from 3-7pm and said is more than happy to have Jennifer joining him on a Sunday morning.
Station Director Richard Maddock told RadioToday.co.uk: “Jennifer’s warmth and glamour will be a great addition to the show, complimenting Dave’s cheeky charm!”
She’ll continue on the show until the arrival of her second baby.
