Pure and Halfords make DAB+ in-dash radio

Pure has launched a new in-dash car radio product in collaboration with Halfords, with DAB and DAB+ digital radio included.

The Highway H240Di is available in Halfords stores and from today, and incorporates digital, FM and AM tuners, along with iPod and USB connectivity.

A higher-end version, the Highway H260DBi also comes with wireless streaming, hands free calling via Bluetooth and customisable button lighting which allows users to match the radio to dashboard illumination.

The launch of the Highway products marks the first fruits of an exclusive partnership that began a year ago with the aim of bringing to market products that would accelerate DAB listening and sales – a market they say is worth an estimated £2 billion.
