Digital station Eklipse Sports Radio in Scotland has brought in a new Chief Executive and will rebrand to RockSport Radio in January next year.
The changes come just months after the station launched, as founding Director Spencer Pryor sells his majority shareholding in the station to new investors, including the owners of Hamilton Academicals FC. Spencer Pryor is remaining as Station Director, reporting into new Chief Executive Keira McDougall, who joins the company from sales and marketing agency KJM Events in Glasgow.
New branding is already starting to appear with the launch of the station’s new Android app on Google Play, and perimeter advertising at a number of Scottish sports venues is due to change in the next few weeks. In January there will be a major marketing campaign targeting the 2.7 million adults in the station’s TSA.
Eklipse Sports Radio launched on May 5th this year and broadcasts on the Central Scotland DAB mux from studios in Glasgow.
