The annual Student Radio Awards has taken place in London, with URN winning the Station of the Year award for the 5th year.


The Gold winners in full are:

Best Student Radio Station – URN

Best Marketing & Station Sound – Shock Radio

Best Male – Calum Macdonald – Fresh Air

Best Female – Izzie Clarke – URN

Best Newcomer – George Ward – Radio ENRG

Best Entertainment Programme – Sean Montague & Emily Sandford – Nerve Radio

Best Interview – Luke Jones interview Lord Carey – KCL Radio

Best Technical Achievement – Responsive Radio – 1449AM URB

Best Live Event or Outside Broadcast – EDQT – Fresh Air

Best Journalistic Programming – The Student Underworld – SCRATCH RADIO

Best Speech Programming – Sound in Silence – IC Radio

Best Specialist Music Programming – Eclectic Sessions – Hub Radio

The Student Radio Chart Show Award – Pure FM

Kevin Greening Award – Brain Storm – Wired
