Breakfast co-host Cat Harvey is leaving Heart Scotland after 12 years on-air at the regional station, ahead of Robin Galloway’s return to the slot.
It was anticipated “Robin and Cat” would be reunited in the new year when Robin leaves Bauer for Global, but Cat announced the news on Facebook saying the time is right to move on. She leaves next Friday. Her former co-presenter Ewen Cameron left the station in October.
A spokesperson for Heart Scotland told RadioToday: “Cat Harvey has decided to leave Heart and pursue other projects. We would like to thank her for all her hard work and she leaves with our good wishes. We will be announcing the co-host for Heart Scotland’s brand new breakfast show with Robin Galloway in due course.”
Cat Harvey said: “I have really enjoyed my time on Heart Scotland, but I have decided to move on to new projects. I wish my good friend Robin all the best with the new show.”
Thank you for all the lovely messages about my decision to leave Heart to work on other projects.
