LGBT televised live radio show to launch

Newcastle based Pride Radio is to make its TV debut with a twice weekly live show launching on Made Television.

The station which broadcasts online is to expand its audience with the televised show, Made with Pride which is expected to start early this year across the Made Television Network.

Pride Radio host and Made in Tyne and Wear presenter, Peter Durrant said, “To launch our first televised radio show is just fantastic. It’s a really bold move by Pride and Made TV, I’m not aware of any other public broadcaster giving such an opportunity to the LGBT community”.

Lee Finan, Chair of Pride Radio said, “This is a very exciting partnership. Since the launch of Made Television we’ve been really impressed with their commitment to the LGBT community. We enjoyed working with the Made in Tyne and Wear team at Newcastle Pride and this latest venture is another testament to our ongoing, positive relationship”.
