Virgin Radio to launch from a moving train

The official re-launch of Virgin Radio will take place from a moving train on its way to London from Manchester on March 30th.

Edith Bowman and Matt Richardson will on on board, along with a number of bands.

It’ll be a special day for the train they’ll be riding on too – it will be named as the Virgin Radio Star and be wrapped in the Virgin Radio branding at the front and back.

Richard Branson, Virgin Group Founder, said: “Virgin is steeped in music history and I’m delighted that Virgin Radio is set to hit the UK airwaves once more. While many people thought the rise of digital would be the death of radio, it has instead enhanced the experience.

The launch concept was created and executed by TBI Media.
