The European Radio Show will feature Britain as guest of honour when it takes place in Paris next year.
The three-day event is on from 29th to 31st January 2017 and celebrates the media of radio with around 5,000 guests turning up each time.
It’s happening at the Grande Halle de la Villette, and is free to attend. It also features an opportunity for radio companies to promote products and services, with an exhibition hall of around 80 stands offered.
Organisers told RadioToday: “In 2016, 4,951 media professionals made the trip to discover what new products were on display, to absorb and take inspiration from the knowledge imparted by the 180 or so speakers, to meet up (each year the event provides a unique meeting place for all of the trade union and employers’ organisations), to contemplate the radio of tomorrow and naturally to attend exclusive presentations, to meet one another and to gain insight into the latest industry trends.
“More than 80 exhibitors showcased their products and services over the three days of the 2016 event (exceptionally including one evening), at the very Haussmann-style Grande Halle de la Villette.”
