PURE Digital presents the new range of PURE EVOKE-1XT Prestige DAB digital radios, an exclusive luxury edition of the DAB radio.
PURE?s Prestige radios, which are available from independent retailers and department stores, have proven themselves the ultimate radio for the discerning listener. As a result PURE is launching a new range of Prestige Edition radios ? including FM support and a range of new wood finishes ? based on its award-winning EVOKE-1XT model. EVOKE-1XT Prestige radios receive not only DAB digital radio broadcasts, but also FM with RDS.
The EVOKE-1XT Prestige is available in Bird’s Eye Maple, Burnt Redwood and Piano Black finishes, all in a high-gloss lacquered coat. These new finishes are created using more intensive manufacturing processes to create a radio of perfect style.

It has easy-to-use DAB features such as station selection by name and scrolling text showing song titles, artist information, news updates and sports results. The stylish radio features radius-edged veneered casework and a large, clear white-on-blue display. The package is completed with a handy clock display, a tone/radio alarm and a kitchen timer. Its class-leading audio performance is delivered via a custom-designed speaker and active filters. The radio will be available from summer 2006 for ?119.99 and features six station presets, a high performance speaker, a headphone socket and stereo line-out for recording.
The EVOKE-1XT Prestige is a stand-alone DAB radio. Its gently contoured prestige finish casework surrounds a pearlescent white front with silver grille and control panel with scrolling cool-blue LCD text display, station selection and volume knobs and button controls for presets, display-settings, power and auto-tuning. It also adds several enhanced features specifically for international users, including: Tri-band reception (Band III and L-band DAB1 and FM with RDS) and support for a wide selection of European languages.
Other key product features include: high sensitivity RF tuner module; three levels of Dynamic Range Control; user-selectable service ordering; telescopic aerial / connector for external aerial.
