Ulster Television, owners of UTV Radio have announced an official name change of the company. Following its recent Annual General Meeting at which a special resolution to change the name of the Company was passed, the Company?s name changed to ?UTV plc?.
It’s part of a bigger plan to move away from just television activities, as the company now own many radio stations and are branching out into new media including UTV Internet.
UTV Radio own 25 radio stations including UK national talkSPORT and U105 in Belfast.
