Pure Digital has revealed details of the ?lan RV40, an advanced portable DAB digital radio which brings a major evolution in features and performance to one of the best selling DAB radio designs ever.
Part of PURE?s ?lan range, the stylish graphite finish of ?lan RV40 oozes class and comes with a host of functions designed to make our life easier, including PURE?s revolutionary ReVu? technology which enables listeners to pause and rewind live radio so they need never miss a track title or news update again. ?lan RV40 owners can pause and rewind live radio for up to 30 minutes using the easy controls.
?lan RV40 takes the ?lan family design to the next level with subtly evolved casework, which improves the radios function without losing the appeal of the ?lan design, and completely new internal electronics using the very latest components for enhanced functionality and performance. The evolution is completed with new software to bring significant additional features and ease of use.
textSCAN? enables the pause and scrolling of DAB text, giving users time to note down web addresses or competition phone numbers. ?lan RV40 also stores and collates special Intellitext? messages* to allow users to view information such as news headlines, sports results, favourite track listings and more at their convenience. ?lan RV40 even keeps tracking Intellitext messages when in standby.
In addition to all of these time-saving features, PURE has also made ?lan RV40 ChargePAK? ready giving up to 15 hours of portable listening time. ?lan RV40?s optional ChargePAK charges while connected to the mains, and allows users to listen to their favourite radio stations in the garden or around the house.
Other features include 20 Presets (DAB or FM), clock with kitchen and sleep timers, tone or DAB/FM radio alarm, USB Upgradeability to add new features as they become available, and RDS support for station name display on FM and RDS scrolling text.
