Richard Newman is set to team up with Julian Bennett for the Saturday mid-morning show from 10am till 1pm.
Since leaving the Big Brother house, he has made various TV and radio appearances, and has revealed he's been a GaydarRadio fan for many years.
Back at his home in Canada, Richard worked for two years at a local radio station as a presenter. He also has a degree in TV and Radio Arts.
GaydarRadio won Best Radio Station at the BT Digital Music Awards 2006 earlier this month.
