Manchester comedian Jason Manford is set to take over the breakfast show at Xfm Manchester, as current host Paul Tonkinson joins Xfm in London to present afternoons. Jason has been covering the show recently but is ready for the new gig from January 2007.
Jason Manford is covering the show every Friday in December in preparation for the new show. He's 24 years old and is a regular at the Manchester Comedy Store and 'Jongleurs' club. He also won Best Comedy Newcomer in 2005.
Xfm Manchester is currently under-going a change of studio location, having to vacate Laser House in Manchester which GCap Media sold to GMG Radio along with Century Radio.
