Goodier makes radio comeback

Former BBC Radio 1 presenter Mark Goodier is making a smooth come back to the London radio scene with a daily show on Smooth Radio. He will join the GMG-owned station from March 26th to host the mid-morning show from 10am – 1pm weekdays.

Mark Goodier said: “I’ve had lots of offers to return to a daily show over the years but this was much more tempting than the rest. The combination of fantastic music and the opportunity to deliver an entertaining show was too good to pass up. I’m very excited to be broadcasting to London every day.”

Gavin McCoy, Programme Controller for London’s Smooth Radio, said: “Mark is a fantastic broadcaster and we are thrilled that we’ve been able to tempt him to return to hosting a daily programme. He will provide a relaxed and entertaining listen for Londoners.”

Mark joins a new line-up which includes Graham Dene at breakfast and Martin Collins at Drivetime. Kevin Greening, who currently hosts the mid-morning show, will move to weekday afternoons.
